Slidepad Review
I do love me some note taking apps. Here's a new one to add to the pile. Slidepad is a cool little app that makes itself handy and practically invisible. One Alt-Space key command and this beautifully simple note drawer slides out from the left edge of your display. You can immediately type away or start a new note. Note navigation is easy and very similar to navigating the Finder's history. You can paste images and text directly into your notes. I even copied a bunch of tasks from The Hit List and they were pasted in as links directly to the tasks in THL. I'm amazed. This app is great. I would consider buying it except I already have 5 or 6 note taking apps and I'm afraid I wouldn't get the miles out of the dollars right now. The only thing I would change about this app is making it a menu bar plugin or run in the background. That's it. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone searching for an instantly available note taking solution.
